Volume #3 Issue #4 April 2007 - Bridging the Gap

The height of fashion for young YOU girls is the uni-brow.  While at home in North America everyone owns a pair of tweezers to try to prevent this look, YOU girls encourage it.  There is a plant that you can buy on the street corner called osma that can be turned into a paste to connect your brows in the middle.  They believer that the closer together your brows are the closer to home you will marry.  For this reason, all parents encourage their daughter to participate in this fashion; they want to keep them close to home.  2000 years ago, God sent His son to bridge an even wider gap, the gap between sin and sight.  He did so because he wanted to keep the YOU people close to His own heart.  As much as I have grown to love these people and this culture, God loves them even more; he desires for many of them to be participating in His throne room worship service.  But just as young girls will never obtain the perfect uni-brow without buying soma and applying it, the YOU people will never believe until they have heard the Good News.
