Starting a Business

If you keep up with my blog, you may already know that my friend and I are in the midst of starting our own translation and consultation business.  The hope is to have a company that can provide visas for us to live here long term.  We are also hoping to make a name and a place for ourselves in this community.  Sadly, the process of opening a company is overwhelmingly complicated.  We spend hours sitting in government offices, filling out forms, and writing official documents.  In total, it is a 35-step process to open a fully foreign owned company.  And so, we are simply making it a matter of prayer as we go step by step.  If we are granted the approval we are seeking, we should have the right to work and live here for the next 30 years.  Right now, I am worn out from the process and find it hard to look that far down the road.  Please pray that God will strengthen us as we strongly feel it is part of His leading.
