Redirected

Another benefit of our yearly exodus to worship, in addition to the warmth, is the ability to pick up resources and carry them into country.  This year my travel mates and I were a little over zealous and had our bags over stuffed with copies of the Word and other tracts to smuggle in.  The problem was that we were scheduled to enter at a different border crossing, one we are not familiar with.  We had also heard that these land crossings were checked closely.  As we made our way closer to our destination, we prayed more and more.  Hours before we were scheduled to arrive, we stopped and were redirected through a different border crossing.  The guards were not ready for us… and were distracted by a large shipment of imported items that arrived at the same time we did.  In the end, they gave our passports a quick glance, stamped them ad we entered without even putting our bags through the x-ray machine.  As first we were annoyed by the inconvenience of being redirected hours out or our way, but in the end we praised Him that we made it in safely with all of our luggage.
