Graduation

Since May, I have had opportunity to teach ten lectures in YOU from God’s Word.  The Central Asian students, a mixture of Kazak and Kyrgyz young people, have officially graduated from their program.  They have read through the Word a total of five times in nine months.  They are some of the first from their people groups in this province to ever read through the entire canon (they got some books just days after being translated, and their reading helped in the testing process).  We had a graduation ceremony and each of the graduates, invited family and friends to celebrate this accomplishment.  All of the graduates took the opportunity to share their reflections on how they had grown closer to God during their time of intense study.
