Team of Experts

Well, we may not be experts, but we are a team.  Last month, my teammates and I went to a team development conference.  The three of us learned about your own personal contributions to the work, as well as how our personalities relate to each other.  One of the most important elements we learned was group decision making skills.  These new skills were put to use just a few days later when my knee failed and we had to decide if we were still up for our big move south.  These were long, and at some points, very painful discussion as we reconsidered what was important to us.  In a lot of ways it came down to the fact that we were scared.  This is not a simple move.  We are hoping to go to a part of the world where no one has preached the gospel.
