Even before my knee gave me problems I
struggled with my own physical weakness that I brought to this job. In the last ear on of the most encouraging
things I read was: Piper, John. The Hidden Smile of God: The Fruit of
Affliction in the Lives of John Bunyan, William Cowper, and David Brainers.
(Crossways Books, 2001). If you have
also ever felt weak in your own life of ministry I would highly suggest this as
a needed read.
