Two of the girls who have been out here for
a while and have really good language skills held a workshop for us ‘newbies’
on spiritual vocabulary. It was wonderful
to finally learn the words to help express the joy and hope that is in my
heart. I have been using these new
phrases with several of my friends here on campus. This past month I was actually able to watch
the Jesus film with two of my closest friends who seemed to have a growing
interest in the things of God. After
watching it together one of the girls deemed it to be a very ‘holy’ movie. The other told me that she felt like her
heart was washed as she watched it.
While her meaning was not exactly who we would mean the ten, it is
exciting to see how God is working in their lives. Please lift these two girls up in
prayer. Also, in my English group we are
beginning a study of women in History.
This has led us into the New Testament time line. Lift up the women in the group that they will
realize that all of this chronological study was done to point them to the one
who is the healer of history. Pray that
their hearts will be ready and open to hearing and accepting.
