Rent Hearts

For months now I have been asking you to remember the YOU people in your daily prayer time – to lift them up that the Lord would do a mighty act in this part of the world.  I have been asking you to rend your hearts, to split them open and to feel the needs and pains of this part of the world.  Joel told the people to “Rend your heart and not your garments: (2:13) The Lord said to Solomon “if my people will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, them will I hear from heave and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chron 7;14).  This land needs to be healed.  The YOU people are lost and without knowledge of the Savior.  Pray that they will learn what it means to rend their hearts and not their clothes.  Pray also that these children would grow up with hearts that are split open for the healing of the Lord.  As we continue to seek this day together let us not give up hope but live expectedly for how He will work through our prayers.
