Our Plans

Like last year, I spent my summer holiday helping host a summer team.  This year we had nine very talented and energetic college students come and join us for seven week.  These kids had a great attitude and were up for almost anything; which was a real blessing.  Their visit reminded me to live for His plan instead of our own.  Before their arrival we had tried to arrange a place for them to teach English and set up comfortable accommodations, all of which fell through at the last minute.  These students were tested in a number of ways, including being kicked out of their hotel by the authorities because it was not approved to have foreigners.  All teaching options seemed to fall through and they were left some days with an empty schedule; but God blessed each of them with some divine appointments and great friendships where His name was proclaimed. 

 

A few of them even had the opportunity to leave their friends with a copy of the NT which has just been finished in YOU.  Many of the friendships that they started this summer will be people that I keep in contact with in hopes of sharing more.
