Practically in my backyard is one of the
world’s largest shifting sand deserts.
In this province, you can drive for mile after mile and see nothing but
sand. It almost looks like an ocean of
brown waves as far as the eye can see.
All of the YOU people live around the desert in small oasis
communities. The oases are beautiful
lush green spaces, spaces where plants and fruit grow in abundance and life can
survive. When you stand on the edge of
an oasis you are struck by the stark contrast of the two areas: thriving freshness
brought by water versus waste wasteland.
