Volume #1 Issue #1 May 2004 - The Cost of Gasoline


How high do gas prices have to get before you stop driving your car? 82.9? 94.9? The dreaded one dollar per liter?  This is the question that Windsor news correspondents have been asking all around the city.  Even gas stations themselves are admitting the extreme to which prices have risen.  I saw in the paper recently where one private company had listed on their sign “ Regular –ARM, Premium – LEG, High Octane – FIRST BORN”.  Most divers interviewed on the evening news admit the prices are outrageous but necessity and life demand that they pay the price… even if it is in body parts.
