On August 29th during the
morning service my Church family at Riverside is holding a commissioning
service. This is an opportunity for the
body of Christ to affirm my calling to work among the YOU people and charge me
to His service. It will also help the
church to realize their partnership with me in missions. Paul taught the church in Corinth that the
whole body needs to work together for God’s glory despite each member having
different gifts and abilities. Many of you
are already using your spiritual gifts to minister to the YOUs by supporting
and praying for me. This commissioning
service will be an opportunity for us all to celebrate what God is going to do
through our combined faithfulness and challenge us to greater service. If you have decided to partner with me in any
way I would love for you to attend and celebrate our combined work for the
Kingdom.
