Resting

Living in a closed country, day in and day out takes more out of a person than I realized.  Added to that, the train of a long winter in which I haven’t seen the sun in over two months, and the stress of adjusting to a new culture was making me very worn out.  Thankfully the Pioneer family is aware of these strains and plans a yearly getaway.  This year we met at a tropical resort in Thailand.  It was more than just the ocean, pool and palm trees that aided in giving me a time of rest, the spiritual refreshing of spending time with other workers and hearing what our Father has been doing in this area.  We also had the joy of sitting under the teaching of a wonderful man who challenged us in our service for the next year.
