Why a Lesson in Linguistics?

One of the tasks I have been pursuing, while home these last few months, has been the processes of transliterating the book of Numbers. Transliteration is process of taking the Biblical text, that others have already painstakingly worked to faithfully translate into the U language, and rewriting it with a different alphabet. A lot of this work can be done via a computer program that simply changes one symbol to another. Each chapter must then be checked for capitalization of names and places. The hope is that soon all versions of the U Bible will be available online so that, whatever educational background a seeker has, they can find the Word in a script that their heart comprehends.
