Trip to Tbilisi

As we are getting into the world of digital media, we have been learning about others across Central Asia that are using it for His glory.  We were recently invited to partake in a free Summit of different teams using social media for gospel purposes.  Most of the teams from across were be run completely by local believers.  We spent 5 days at a youth hostel in Tbilisi Georgia, hearing firsthand from the successes and failures of teams in neighbouring ‘stan’ countries.  Most of them are also trying to engage their Muslim neighbours through these platforms. It was a blessing for our team to have this time together in the same location.  We meet daily after the main sessions to debrief together and prayer about how we can be implementing what we learned.    The Conference ended with a day trip to a monastery in the mountains, our team really needed this time to just ‘play’ together and have fun.
