Waiting for the Psalms

 Talip began regularly reading the U Bible several years ago after coming to our site via an advertisement. One aspect of our site that was especially compelling to him was our “Jewels of the Psalms” project where we pair music and scenic video from the U homeland with metered-verse Psalms audio. “I’ve listened to all of them numerous times. When will you release more Jewels?”, he wrote to us recently. 

Thanks to the generosity of a private donor, we now have the budget to move forward full speed with this project. This will allow us to produce original, professional-quality music to accompany our Psalms audio. We have a growing network of musicians, recording artists, and sound engineers collaborating across five countries, including several U musicians. We have published 14 new ‘Jewels’ to our social media platforms, with another 10 waiting in-house for final editing. We would love to see this collaborative effort grow to include more ‘creatives’, including videographers, visual artists, and singers, all focused on creating art centered around the Psalms. 

After hearing about the new musical Psalms posted to our website, Talip immediately visited and spent over 45 minutes listening to the new content!

 Please continue to pray for our team member who is currently devoting the majority of his time to creating ethnically U music for this “Jewels of the Psalms” project and our other Bible content that requires a musical component. May God use this music to help open U men and women’s hearts to the beauty of His Word.
