Beautiful Things - May 2015

The first time my boss and his wife took me out to the land that was to be the future site of our factory, they played the Gungor song “Beautiful Things”.  The lyrics have been an inspiration for them in this whole baby food business process - You make beautiful things out of the dust, you make beautiful things You make beautiful things out of us.  It has been amazing to see this dry, empty, desert property, start to take shape and become a location where we really can produce a good product.  Sure it has taken longer than we first anticipated, but every step along the way we have seen Gd working.  Just like the song, however, we are not just amazed to see him transforming the physical surroundings, He is also transforming us and making us more beautifully into the image of Crist. Soon we will have a beautiful facility and be able to start hiring local Uyghur women. We ask that Father will be leading in the hiring process, that we find women whose hearts are open to Him and the Work of His Spirit.  We want to be able to sing “he makes beautiful things out of us and know that “Us” includes all of our staff.  That he is taking the dust of each one of our lives and turning it into something beautiful for Him.
