Thank you all for your quick and prayerful response to our recent urgent request.   While the situation still has not been resolved, in that the work men still have not be given their pay, the standoff at the factory ended without significant damage to person or property.  One rather hot headed labourer stomped angrily on the roof threatening to do damage, while others dismantled the easily removable parts of the windows (that can all be reinstalled once they have been paid) promising us it shouldn’t be a problem since it likely won’t snow again this year.  We continue to put pressure on the contractor to pay his employees.  Both Michael and our local worker agree that their presence on site during this standoff was a blessing, allowing them to empathise with the disgruntled workers, acknowledge their pain and honour their work deserving of remuneration. 

One of the largest local holidays will soon be upon us, shutting down most business for two weeks.  We are trying to arranging things so that we can push hard as soon as people are back to work.  First we need to continue talking to investors and make sure our finances are in place to buy our equipment.  The inside of the building needs to be constructed to meet food production standards including proper finishing on walls and floors. We need to order machinery and have it delivered and schedule when the company will send employees to install and train us.  Each detail is often dependent on another and so we are asking Father to guide us as we set up what needs to be done in what order.
