Mom

Many of you already know that my life was forever altered this February with the unexpecting passing of my mother. She suffered a heart attack on the 5th and we found out that although she had always seemed healthy and active, my mom was suffering from heart disease. A week and a half later, this wonderful woman who had always lived as an example of faithfulness to her Lord and loving her family had been promoted to her eternal home. Yes, there is grief and sadness as we daily adjust to life without her, but scripture is true, we don’t grieve as those who have no hope. Because Christ was raised from the dead, we know with surety that mom, as his follower will also be raised.
