Two dinner conversations caught my attention. One friend questioned my intention to visit the second city on my itinerary, “Why would you bother going there? There are hardly any U people in that city!” His quick response seemed harsh and made me second guess myself. Once there I sat down with another cross-cultural servant who agreed, “Yes, U people are certainly a minority here, the population is not as large as other countries, but it has never been about numbers. Even in the most U populated city it’s all about the divine appointments and who the Lord brings into our lives.” She is right! Even in my short visit the Father allowed me to connect with several U families.
