Eleanor's Garden Baby Food Dec Update

Since producing our first batch of product, we have continued to make baby food in our factory. With each batch we have been trying to figure out ways to reduce waste, increase speed, teach our staff procedures, tweak our recipes and keep learning ourselves. Most of this has been done with one of our simple first step recipes that only has two ingredients. We will need to expand these test batches soon to include all six of our recipes so that we can submit pouches of the finished product of each recipe with our Quality Standard (QS) paperwork.

Due to our local employee being out of the province while his wife received medical treatment, December saw us running round to various offices doing admin. We are again reminded of how great an addition he is to our team, and how much we sorely miss him when he is gone! We appreciate the way he takes the brunt of this aspect of opening a business here in China! He and his family are now back, and his wife is doing well. Please continue to remember this couple as they work hard to serve both our company and those in this province.

One of the pieces of paper work we have been trying to get stamped this last month was permission to hire a fourth foreign employee. Spencer is from the U.S. and has a background in HR. He and his family have been living in the province for the last three years, and we are excited that they are looking at moving here and offering their area of expertise to our company. We still need permission from one last bureau in order for him to have the necessary paperwork to apply for his visa, it is the first time we have had to deal with this bureau and they seem to be going over things very carefully. Their families' projected return date is coming up quickly. Please join us in asking that all the paperwork would be processed quickly so that they can enter the country as planned.

In addition, there are some ongoing things that you can be lifting up to the Father for us:

- Finishing up the final payments with our contractor and his sub-contractors.

- Paperwork that officially gives permission for our factory to be built -Late addition - Praise the Father that this document has been issued (we first asked you to pray for it September 2014

-the construction completion certificate for our factory

- Our food production license should happen in the week after the New year
