Eleanor's Garden June Update

Hello!

Movement: we are finally seeing movement of the finishing touches on the factory. We have seen some breakthrough in several areas, including an amicable resolution to the men who came to our factory a while ago to cause some trouble due to not being paid. We have found inspired ways of going around our contractor and getting money to the people who are most in need of getting paid. We now have all of our doors and all of our windows! As little crises arise, we really have felt the Father guiding us as to how to handle them with integrity and grace. Thank you for praying for this! The remaining things to do around the factory, both inside and out, are delegated and we should see completion soon! Please pray for continued wisdom as we deal with the original contractor regarding his inability to complete. Ask that he would be diligent in getting the certificates we need for our building.

Testing -- Monday an engineer will be arriving to help us with the final settings on our retort machine. This is the machine that ensures our product is cooked and sterilized! He will be running the machine probably through Thursday as he tweaks it to do what we need it to do. He will need lots of baby food pur¨¦e to keep the machine full! To this end we have hired temporary employees (women from the neighboring village) to help us prepare the fruit and vegetables to make into pur¨¦e. This is a great opportunity for us to test out our processes and put the production line together. Michael and Karen have been doing lots of shopping finishing off our production room with the odds and ends it needs to be operational. We have also had people on site hooking up electricity so that all of our machines will be working. Please join us in asking that we would learn lots this weekend! Ask that the engineer would be able to discern the settings we will need to produce a safe, quality product. Ask that the women would be ready learners and that some of them would prove themselves as potential future employees for the Autumn. We are also hoping that we would have some product in the end that we would be able to submit to the quality standard bureau as part of our application for our quality standard certificate.
